"Phatic Communication" - The verbal and non-verbal undertakings of the interviewer in the opening seconds of the interview play no small role in the ultimate outcome of the interview.

"Is that the Truth?” - "Detecting deception involves 3 keys: The first key, “questioning” will get the interviewer into the house; the second key, “attending to change” will get the interviewer into the room; the third key, “working knowledge of linguistic terminology” can serve to get the interviewer into the box, wherein lies the truth.
